Freeman 850 with Freemsn 51 Hardener is an aluminum-filled epoxy that gels at room temperature but requires a heated post cure to obtain maximum properties and heat resistance. Once post cured the Freeman 850/51 may be used in applications where temperatures reach a maximum of 350°F. This resin system is well suited for constructing vacuum form tools, prototype injection molds, compression molds, prepreg molds, and other high temperature tooling. It is castable up to 4" in thickness and machines well.

Freeman 850/51 is an alternative to RenCast 4037 and RenCast 4036/Ren 1511.
