Airtech Infusion Auxiliary Materials
Polyethylene Tubing is used to connect the vacuum reservoir to the part to be infused. Available with a 1/2" O.D. and a 3/8" I.D. for use with 3/8" fittings or a 5/8" O.D. and a 1/2" I.D. for use with 1/2" fittings.
Polyethylene Spiral Wrap is used under the bag in the infusion process to introduce a steady and even flow of resin to the laminate. Available with a 3/8", 1/2", and 5/8" O.D. and a 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" I.D. respectfully.
Omega Flow Lines are used under the bag, in the resin infusion process, to provide effective delivery of the resin to the laminate. This reusable, silicone rubber product replaces the spiral wrap polyethylene feeder lines. Part # OF313 has an inside diameter of 0.313", OF500 has a 0.500" I.D., and OF750 has a 0.750" I.D.
Resin Infusion Connectors are inexpensive polyethylene parts, used to connect the vacuum manifold and resin feed lines for low temperature resin infusion projects. RIC 12 is used with a 1/2" O.D. tubing and the RIC 58 is used with 5/8" O.D. tubing.
Nylon Barb Fittings are used to connect polyethylene tubing and/or spiral wrap together, to make your network of vacuum infusion lines to the laminate. "Barbed" ends enable a secure union with only a press fit. Available in "T's", 90 degree elbows, and straight couplings of various sizes.
Vacuum Reservoir RB 451 is designed to collect excess resin during the infusion process and prevent damage to your vacuum pump. 2.5 gallon tank size, comes complete with polyethylene liner, vacuum regulator/gage, quick disconnect coupling, and two barbed fittings for 5/8" and 3/4" I.D. hose.
