Airtech Airweave Breathers & Bleeders

Polyester breathers in various deniers (linear mass densities) and weights to channel air under a vacuum bag in an oven or autoclave. Airweave^® products have good elongation and protect vacuum bags in sharp radius areas. Slitting master rolls to various widths is available. Most can be made in a fire retardant version.

Airweave S is a thin white polyester fiber with a 3 oz./yd.² weight and a 400°F temperature resistance.

Airweave SS FR is a thin white polyester fiber that is treated with a fire retardant foam for extra safety on higher temperature cures. 4 oz./yd.² weight and a 400°F temperature resistance.

Airweave N-4 is a white polyester fiber that is slightly thicker than the Airweave S for more absorption as a bleeder or better air flow as a breather. 4 oz./yd.² weight and a 400°F temperature resistance.

Airweave N-4 FR is the same as the Airweave N-4 with addition of fire retardant fibers for extra safety.

Airweave N-7 is a medium-weight breather for when N-4 is not sufficient for airflow or N-10 is too thick.

Airweave N-10 is a heavier 10 oz./yd.² white polyester fiber that is used for higher pressure cures. This breather offers good elongation and cushions sharp corners for vacuum bag protection. 400°F temperature resistance.

Airweave N-10 FR is the same as the Airweave N-10 with addition of fire retardant fibers for extra safety.

Airweave Super 10 is a 10 oz./yd.² white polyester fiber that features a higher denier (linear mass density) for pressure cures in the autoclave. This feature provides better air flow at higher temperatures and pressures. 400°F temperature resistance.

Airweave Super 18 is a heavier 18 oz./yd.² version of the Airweave Super 10. 400°F temperature resistance.
